15 September 2013: Rainy Sunday

It was so pleasant walking in the slow, steady rain this morning,
everything bright and glistening.

14 September 2013: Tick Tock

My grandmother's clock.
It's a temperamental old thing, but when it's aligned properly and the weather isn't too humid,
it still works. When those conditions are not met, it still manages to be right twice a day.

13 September 2013: A Picture-Perfect Day

This afternoon, i took an unplanned stroll along upper West Wacker (definitely preferable to strolling along lower Wacker). The sudden change to cooler weather turned the skies to a clear, beautiful, intense shade of blue, and eveywhere i looked, the city seemed to be posing for its close-up.

The Chicago Board of Trade at the foot of LaSalle St.

It's no secret that i love watching construction
(as well as demolition). The guy in orange
(about a quarter of the way up) seemed like he was
perched on the edge of the sky.
The building is at the corner of Clark and Wacker.
Closer view of construction workers on their precarious perch.

12 September 2013: Household Objects

Occasionally i get bored with the usual subject matter and have to resort to taking pictures of my tschotskes
in odd locations. Today was one of those days.
