Emmylou Harris was the headliner, and i do like her, but i really went to see Richard Thompson. The combination of his hallucinogenic guitar playing and his hypnotic voice was as remarkable as ever; every time i've seen him in concert i've had an out-of-body experience. Oh, and he played "1952 Vincent Black Lightning," my favorite of his many wonderful songs.
