Cool box of blue in the middle of a fiery garden

I ventured down to the Mag Mile today on an unsuccessful mission to find a new lampshade to replace one that was broken yesterday when a sudden gale-force wind whipped through my apartment and knocked over a lamp. The temperature was close to 100 ℉, and the combination of red coleus and sweaty-looking begonia leaves with the glass sculptures that look like flickering yellow flames made the sidewalk gardens look hot enough to cook 'smores over. 
The blue accent at the center reminded me of the color palette in the movie Amélie. See what i mean:
